CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Wash away any debris with warm water and soap. Use a lint free cloth with alcohol or a disinfecting wipe to sterilize the Shield between uses. Do NOT use abrasive cleaning products or brushes as they can scratch the acrylic.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
To install the Shield on a slit lamp first bring the oculars together as much as is needed in order to slide the Shield over the eye pieces. Position the Shield at the smallest diameter on the ocular tubes to allow for the most adjustment. You may have to lift the Shield over various controls or rings to find the smallest diameter. In some cases it may be necessary to install the Shield between the ocular tubes and the housing in order to have the maximum adjustment range for PD. To do this, simply slide the ocular tubes out from the housing a few millimeters to create enough space for the Shields to drop into and then slide the ocular tubes back to secure the Shield in place. The reduced diameter of the ocular tubes should allow for adequate excursion and the ability to adjust for a large PD. Once the Shield is in place you can extend the oculars back to their original position or adjust them as needed.
