Now you can understand where the most common complications of Tilt and Decentration are coming from. This simple but elegant model provides a CLEAR scleral shell without a cornea. Use it to place the docking needles and ensure that symmetrical needle placement and scleral tracks are being made. Adjusting needle placement allows you to easily see the effects on an IOL when it is fixated to the sclera.
We strongly recommend purchasing the following:
Elevated Base to help securely hold the models.
Base Tray in conjunction with the Elevated Base capture fluid and provides additional hand support.
Dispersive Viscoelastic Solution to help improve the view into the models and cover the incisions to minimize air bubbles from coming into the eyes.
