SimulEYE® Membrane Peeling Eye
The reusable SimulEYE® Membrane Peeling Eye is based on our high-performance SimulEYE® BIO model and has a glass optic cornea for excellent visualization. It can be sourced either with or without two pre-placed 23g cannulas which are designed to stay in place. The eye can be easily opened and a new retina with a membrane can be inserted and ready to go in seconds. There is no need to apply gels and dry them out in order to create a membrane. There is no concern of changes in humidity. The membranes will perform the same every time.
Visualization and performance under air is fantastic. The back half of the eye can be filled with water or gel so the membrane behaves even more realistically. Prolonged use of water or gel will cause the membrane to detach within 5-10 minutes.
NOTE: This eye is to be used in conjunction with the Membrane Peeling Kits. Additional refill packs of Membrane Peeling Retinas are sold separately.
