The SimulEYE® Membrane Peeling Kits offer an easy solution for practicing retina membrane peeling. Whether you want to try different retina forceps or experience various 3D visualization systems, these Kits solve the challenges that come with trying to work outside of the OR and lab setting.
The reusable SimulEYE® model has a glass optic cornea for excellent visualization and two pre-placed scleral access points. The eye can be easily opened and a new retina with a membrane can be inserted and ready to go in seconds. There is no need to apply gels and dry them out in order to create a membrane. There is no concern of changes in humidity. The membranes will perform the same every time.
Visualization and performance under air is fantastic. The back half of the eye can be filled with water or gel so the membrane behaves even more realistically during peeling. Prolonged use of water or gel will cause the membrane to detach within 5-10 minutes.

Both Kits provide a Membrane Peeling Eye, Membrane Peeling Retinas, an Open Sky Eye Front and a Lighted Base.
In addition, the Complete Kit contains all of the elements needed to provide internal illumination including a rechargeable Fiber Optic Light Source, 3 different Adapter Caps and even a Light Pipe. If a vitrectomy machine is not available for a light source, be sure to get the COMPLETE KIT.
Having 2 light sources (posterior and internal) will provide maximum visualization especially in environments with significant ambient lighting such as exhibition halls.
Additional Eyes, Membranes and other components can be purchased separately.
