SimulEYE® Xpand
This model is based on the SimulEYE® Aphakia model. It has been customized for Diamatrix to work with the Xpand Iris Speculum devices. A smaller pupil allows the Xpand devices to be placed into the capsule and support the capsule and the iris at the same time. Just like the Aphakia model, this model is designed to be re-used multiple times.
We strongly recommend purchasing the following:
Elevated Base provides a stable platform to securely hold any SimulEYE model with a suction cup base.
Base Tray in conjunction with the Elevated Base captures fluid and provides additional hand support.
Cohesive Viscoelastic Substitute to fill the eyes and provide a realistic intraocular environment or to create the sulcus and maintain space.
