SimulEYE® Iris Prosthesis

The SimulEYE Iris Prosthesis models are now modular, which means you can mix and match different parts! This allows you to practice various techniques by using different combinations of Eye Bases and Eye Fronts. Each Eye Base can be used with different Eye Fronts to create new models.

These models were specifically designed for the Human Optics Artificial Iris but can also be used with other devices to recreate the iris anatomy.

Two Versions Available:

1. Iris Prosthesis + Capsule -- for implanting the device into the bag

2. Iris Prosthesis Sutured -- for Scleral Suture Fixation (SSF) with no capsule

Supplied as a Combo Pack with 1 of each Eye or as Individual Eyes

Key Updates:

• Modular Design: The Iris Prosthesis models feature our reusable Multi-Base and Multi-Base Capsule 5.5 and replaceable Aniridia or Aniridia Sealed Eye Fronts

• Replaceable Eye Fronts – replace or swap out Eye Fronts to practice other techniques

ASSEMBLED EYES = Eye Base + Eye Front PAIR:

• Iris Prosthesis + Capsule = Multi-Base Capsule 5.5 + Aniridia  --  IMPLANT INTO BAG

• Iris Prosthesis Sutured = Multi-Base + Aniridia Sealed  --  SCELRAL SUTURE (SSF)

EYE FRONTS:

• Aniridia – for implantation into the bag, pairs with Multi-Base Capsule 5.5

• Aniridia Sealed – for scleral suture fixation (SSF), pairs with Multi-Base

EYE BASES:

• Multi-Base Capsule 5.5 – for implantation into the bag, pairs with Aniridia Eye Front

• Multi-Base – for scleral suture fixation (SSF), pairs with Aniridia Sealed Eye Front
