SimulEYE® ISHF (Yamane)
Introducing the SimulEYE ISHF (Intrascleral Haptic Fixation, aka the Yamane technique) model eye. This is the updated version of our popular ISIF (Iris Suturing and IOL Fixation) model, now with increased realism and a modular design for greater flexibility and durability.
Key Updates:
Modular Design: Each model features our reusable Multi-Base and a replaceable ISHF (Yamane) Eye Front.
Long Shelf Life: Eye is no longer pre-filled with gel, ensuring long shelf-life.
Hydro Iris™: Proprietary iris material which mimics real tissue, softening over time after hydration. Allow 2 minutes for the iris to fully hydrate and become ready for use.
Pupil Size: Reduced from 7.5mm down to 6mm.

Replaceable Eye Fronts
Filling Port in Eye Front -- easy to fill with viscoelastic gel
Multiple Techniques:
These models are primarily intended for practicing the Yamane technique of Intrascleral Haptic Fixation, but can also be used for other procedures like:
Iris suturing and iridodialysis repair
Iris suture fixation and scleral suture fixation of IOLs
IOL cutting and exchanges
Each Eye Front can be used for multiple procedures before it needs to be replaced.
To practice the Yamane Technique with a smaller pupil of 4mm, please order the Artisan Eye Front.
Complete EYE vs. EYE FRONT:
EYE: Includes both the Eye Front and reusable Multi-Base.
EYE FRONT: The front half of the eye is replaceable and attaches to the Eye Base.
One 5cc Cohesive Viscoelastic is included with each EYE – not provided with replacement Eye Fronts

The SimulEYE ISHF (Yamane) model is modular, featuring a reusable Multi-Base (no capsule) and replaceable ISHF (Yamane) Eye Front
Replacement Eye Fronts are available in packs of 1 or 2
Other Eye Fronts with different pupil sizes are available separately
