Aphakia 2.0: Enhanced Modular Anterior Segment Training
We're excited to introduce the updated SimulEYE Aphakia 2.0 model. This version brings increased realism and more options for anterior segment training, allowing for more advanced and versatile practice.
Key Updates:
Modular Design: The Aphakia 2.0 features our reusable Multi-Base Capsule 5.5 and replaceable Eye Front Aphakia 2.0
Full Cornea-Scleral Shell: The Eye Front now comes with a complete cornea-scleral shell, enabling more complex anterior segment techniques.
Improved Capsular Bag: It is now a one-piece design with a pre-made 5.5mm capsulotomy. It's still easy to remove IOLs or other devices and continue practicing.

Reusable: With proper care, the Aphakia 2.0 model is designed for multiple uses.
Multi-Base Capsule 5.5: This reusable platform is modular and works with many Eye Fronts for a variety of training options.
Replaceable Eye Fronts with a 7.5mm pupil
One-Piece Capsular Bag with a pre-made 5.5mm rhexis
Replaceable Capsule if damaged
Customizable Options: Eye Fronts with different pupil sizes and iris materials are available for different techniques
Complete EYE vs. EYE FRONT:
EYE: Includes both the Eye Front (multi-use) and Eye Base (reusable).
EYE FRONT: The front half of the eye is replaceable and attaches to the Eye Base.
MODULAR:
